Are you looking for a pop of color and life in your home or office? Climbing indoor plants are the perfect way to do just that! With their vibrant green foliage and trailing vines, these low-light-loving plants are ideal for spicing up any workplace, dim room, or shaded area. From pots on high shelves to being trained to climb or in hanging baskets, indoor climbing plants can make any living space look that much more inviting. Whether it's ivy, English ivy, jasmine, pothos, hoya plant, Swedish ivy, or philodendron vine - we've got you covered! So don't wait - bring nature into your home today with a few of the best indoor climbing plants!

Swedish Ivy

This hanging basket plant is not a natural ivy and is not native to Sweden. However, Swedish ivy makes a great houseplant if you want a fuss-free indoor vine plant. A green oval leaf with scalloped edges hangs from the trailing stems. When it hangs from baskets or over the edge of a shelf, the magnificent foliage creates a dramatic effect. The main requirement for caring for Swedish ivy is to maintain it in a bright area out of direct sunlight. Water the plant while the soil is only partially dry to promote growth.

Pothos

The Pothos plant is a must-have on any climbing and vining houseplants list. The Devil's Ivy is a common name for it, apparently given since it is one of the most challenging plants to eliminate. You can grow it up from the floor to the ceiling or cascade down from your shelves or hanging baskets. Watch the devil's ivy roots take hold in the pot by adding moss or coco poles. The variety of this plant is what commonly like most about it. There is pothos in neon green, gold, and silver or satin.

Swiss Cheese Plant

Due to its easy maintenance and lovely leaves, the Swiss cheese plant has become a favorite among people who grow indoor plants. This tropical plant, native to Central and South America, may grow up to 8 feet tall inside and does best in bright, indirect light.

You can keep your Swiss cheese plant healthy by preserving as much moisture and humidity as possible. When the air is drier in the winter, mist the plant's leaves frequently to maintain moist but not saturated soil.

Bleeding Heart

Imagine adding rare blooms of red and white blossoms from spring to fall to your indoor vines, which are already so aesthetically beautiful when they are thick and rich green. That is the appeal of the Bleeding Heart, a tropical indoor vine. Named after the somewhat heart-shaped red, eye-catching blossoms.

Is it possible to grow something similar indoors? Of course! The Bleeding Heart is the ideal interior climbing plant since it is a shade plant that can survive in either full shade or partial sunlight. Make sure to plant them in soil that drains well and to water them once a week. Feed them liquid fertilizer during the growing season.

Micans Philodendron

People frequently plant this fast-growing, low-maintenance tropical climber in hanging pots so the vines can span shelves or walls. The Micans Philodendron likes less direct light than the other plants on our selection thus far. While it can handle intense, indirect light, too much sun will scorch its delicate leaves. To prevent overwatering and root rot, water this beauty anytime the top 2 inches of its soil become dry.

Arrowhead Plant

Indoor arrowhead plants are entertaining houseplants that look fantastic when arranged with other plants for a combined plant display. This easy-to-care-for plant has beautiful arrowhead-shaped leaves and requires little to survive.

Your arrowhead plant is a sun-lover and will thrive in places with bright, indirect light, while it will probably be fine in areas with less light. Just be prepared for slower and less dramatic growth. For optimum results, don't overwater your arrowhead plant; water it frequently in well-drained soil and fertilize it periodically when it's developing. Prune if you like a bushier plant.
